Website access and server logs
When you open this website, the hosting system may process your IP address, the date and time, the requested page or file, the referring page, browser and device information, and the response status. This is necessary to deliver the website, diagnose failures, and protect it against misuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interests are reliable delivery, technical security, and fault diagnosis. Logs are retained only for as long as they are needed for those operational and security purposes.
The website is hosted in Germany by Hetzner Online GmbH, which processes this technical data as a hosting provider.
Google Fonts
This website loads the Scope One typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the stylesheet and font files from Google servers. Google may receive technical information including your IP address, browser and device information, the time of the request, and the referring page.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is a consistent and readable presentation of the website. Google may process information outside the European Economic Area. Google states that it uses recognised transfer mechanisms, including adequacy frameworks and standard contractual clauses where required.
The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited and affiliated Google companies. Read the Google Privacy Policy and its data transfer information.

If you email me, I process the information you send, such as your name, email address, message, and any attachments, so I can answer you and continue the conversation.
For inquiries about possible work, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other correspondence, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and my legitimate interest in responding to the inquiry. I keep correspondence until it is no longer needed for the conversation or a resulting business relationship. Legal retention obligations may require some records to be kept longer.
Recipients and transfers
Personal data is shared only with providers needed to host the website, deliver the externally hosted typeface, or operate email, and when disclosure is required by law. I do not sell personal data.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, newsletters, or site-controlled cookies or browser storage. It does not profile visitors or make automated decisions about them.
External links
Links to services such as LinkedIn, GitHub, npm, and other websites do not send you to those services until you follow the link. Their own privacy policies apply after that point.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive your personal data, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This website does not currently rely on consent.
